Superb looking new car from Peugeot have shocked the car world. With its sleek look and fantastic performance it has been a real head turner producing a massive amount of interest.

Peugeot has unveiled the new HX1 plug-in hybrid concept which the French automaker hopes marks the future of MPV/crossover vehicles. The HX1 is a low-slung MPV/crossover that seats 6 and measures 4.954 m long, 1.990 m wide, and with a height of just 1.373 m. Using Peugeot's HYbrid4 technology, the HX1 is an all-wheel drive diesel-electric with a 2.2 liter HDi unit with 150 kW (204 PS / 201 bhp) powering the front-axle while a 70 kW (95 PS / 95 bhp) electric motor drives the rear wheels. Combined output is 220 kW (299 PS / 295 bhp). The plug-in HX1 can travel up to 30 km (18.6 miles) in all-electric mode and features a fuel-economy rating of 3.2 liters/100 km (88 mpg UK / 73.5 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 83 g/km. But Peugeot doesn't want to make this yet another boring hybrid concept. The HX1 comes with embedded rear spoiler and side skirts on the tailgate which deploy at speeds over 100 km/h (62 mph) and the car's design also gives it a Cd quotient of 0.28 - making it a pretty aerodynamically advanced vehicle for a 6-seater. The HX1 will make its public debut at the Frankfurt motor show September 13, 2011.

The Onyx Concept, is an astonishing hybrid concept vehicle made by Peugeout, it's not confirmed but Onyx could be powered with a petrol 1.6L THP engine with 256hp and an electric engine with 120hp, with a fuel consuption around 4L/100km.

Red Bull Racing's Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey recently had the unique opportunity to get behind the wheel of not one, but two groundbreaking Formula One cars, each penned by the designer and his engineering teams during very different eras of the sport. At Silverstone Circuit, Newey, aided by former Formula One driver David Coulthard, was given the chance to drive the Leyton House March he designed in 1990 and shortly afterwards he was strapped into the Championship-winning Red Bull Racing RB6, which in 2010 claimed nine race wins in the hands of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. One designer, two fascinating cars separated by exactly 20 years, and two totally different experiences, as Adrian relates in this clip.

Porsche's Master level driving course at the Porsche Sport Driving School Australia (PSDS) uses the high performance 911 GT3, the closest vehicle to a real race car available from the showroom floor. It features a race developed, 3.6 litre, 305 kW (415 bhp) engine, 6 speed manual gearbox, race developed suspension tuning, bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres and significant down force from the aero package (wing and front spoiler). To improve your driving skills, the PSDS instructors use satellite data tracking to record the exact position of the car on the racetrack, then guide you in improving your lines through the corners. One-on-one instruction is followed up by solo runs with radio communication. Given the level of complexity, technology and individual tuition, the course is limited to eight participants.
